Myanmar soldiers demand money form the truck driver

Myanmar soldiers 508th Light Infantry Battalion had prevented the road in Hopong township and demanded money from the truck's driver. One of the truck drivers had given from thirty thousand to fifty thousand (Ks).

 On 28 Jan 2018, 10 soldiers from LIB 508th who lived under the control of Ba Htoo went with 5 motorbikes to prevent the road and demand money.

One driver, Sai San, 35years old, lived in Mong Pin bloc Hopong township said he has given eighty thousand(Ks) to Myanmar soldiers.

All of the cars who was passing on that road had given money to Myanmar soldiers, no matter where are they from. Myanmar soldiers accused every car has carried the wood so they demanded money.
