3 villagers get injuries because of TNLA and government army clash

Government troops from infantry 77 applied artillery fire into a village and 3 villagers had been wounded due to the battle of government army and TNLA (Ta’ang National Liberation Army) in the locality of Kyawkme Township, northern Shan State.

The clash happened between two villages (Doa Sarn and Don Po Lol villages) in Kyawkme Township at 15:50 pm to 16:20 pm. In the battle, government troops used 40-mm gun and a bullet fell at the corner of a water tank in front of Par Htwe Nu house in Ga Wrong Wi village. 3 women (Par Htwe Nu, Par Sein Myain and Par Nu Lun) were washing their clothes at the tank when the bullet came down.

Par Htwe Nu got pains at the top of her head and in her waist and at first she was receiving treatment at Kyawkme Township hospital, but at 23:45 pm her pains got worse and she was sent to be cured at Mandalay Hospital.

Par Sein Myain got injured in her left hip and Par Nu Lun got in her right thigh and both of them were being cured at Kyawkme Hospital. There was still a battle happening between TNLA and government troops in the morning of 2 October 2015, yesterday.
