Govt. policemen shoot villager, accusing contact with Shan State Army

 

The villager- Sai Shwe, a 52 years old man, who served as a clerk in Murngaeng block, in South Shan State, contacted the Shan State Army and was accused by government policemen.

On Friday (September 12) 2014, Hopong township policemen, a force of 4 led by Sai Naw kham with weapons, and went to Parlai village to capture and incarcerate Sai Shwe, accusing him of contacting Shan State Army (SSA-S). Sai Shwe didn’t allow the policemen to capture him and while he climbed over the bridge of his house to run away, the policemen shot him in the back and a bullet went through the breast. Then the policemen called the ambulance and sent him to the hospital, but he died at the hospital, said the local.
