Burmese army captures soldiers of RCSS/SSA

On 25 July, Mong Hsat Township based Burmese Army LIB 527 who lived under the control of Keng Tung Township Military Operations Command captured two soldiers of Restoration Council of Shan State/ Shan State Army (RCSS/SSA) at Kain Hain village Mong Ping Township, Eastern Shan State. 

Two soldiers were Sai Sur Loun and Sai Loun who were captured by Burmese Army. They went to buy some soap and other materials and try to call phone with their family but unfortunately met with the Burmese soldiers. They were not released until now.

A politician said although the Burmese Army had signed the nationwide ceasefire agreement (NCA) with ethnic armed groups. But the troops of Burmese Army still bully villagers and captured soldiers of the ethnic armed groups. It has shown that the Burmese Army did not want the peace.
