Troops of government went into the village of Gin Kham and asked the villagers about troops of Shan State Army and didn’t get any answer about troops of SSA, then they beat villagers and left the village and met with troops of RCSS/SSA and fought each other; one troop died on the spot and 5 troops got injuries on government side.
On 25 August 2015, troops of RCSS/SSA and troops of government with 45 force under the control of brigade 246 fought each other about 30 minutes in the forest near the villages of Gin Kham, Sain Kho and Won Lao in the Southern part of Kunhing Township; 5 troops who got injuries were sent to be cured at the town.
After the battle, a member of parliament (Nang War Nu) said “all villagers ran away from their village and now troops of government captured the headman (lung Nan Da) of Sain Kho and other 7 villagers.”
RCSS/SSA and troops of government also fought at the West of Kunhing too, but didn’t know the effect of battle now.
The MP, Nang War Nu, wrote a letter and sent to the head of Myanmar’s peace-building process (Aung Min) to release the villagers that government troops captured and sent to U Hla Maung Shwe too.
