Govt. army and TNLA fight at China border

Battalion-88 of government army and Battalion-112 from Taaung (Palaung) National League Army fought at the China border near Aoi Law village, far away from Namkham township about 3 miles in Northern Shan State.

The battle started from 15:15 pm and stopped at 15:30 pm, on Sunday (September21) 2014 and no injured troops on both side, said the locals. But there was still an attention and alert between the two armies.

Last July, about 800-900 villagers from many villages had ran away from their homes and property due to the battle between the govt. army and TNLA.
